Marinos Cleanthous Marinos Cleanthous graduated from Thessaloniki University (LLB) and obtained his LLM from University of Leicester. He is a PhD researcher student at the European University of Cyprus (His research area covers European Intellectual Property Law).

He is an intellectual property attorney since 2005. He is appointed by the Ministry of Councils of the Government of Cyprus at the Cyprus Intellectual Property Committee.

During the last years he also worked as a part-time lecturer at the University of Nicosia and the University of Central Lancashire (Cyprus). He participated in many legal conferences (in Cyprus and abroad) and he gave presentations for Cyprus intellectual property law issues at the University of London and the University of Dublin.

He is member of Cyprus Bar Association, International Trademark Association (INTA), AIPPI, PTMG, the Silicon Valley Law Association and the International Association for Artificial Intelligence and Law (IAAIL).

Marinos Cleanthous is the former advisor for social media issues of the President of the House of the Representatives (2010-2011).
