| Oscar MAGO CARRANZA Born in Lima in 1967. Lawyer graduated from the Universidad de Lima in 1991 and a member of the Lima Bar Association since 1993. He attended postgraduate school at the International Development Law Institute in Rome, Italy (1998), where he studied Corporate Law. He also studied Intellectual Property and Competition Law at the universities of Salamanca, Spain (1999) and Buenos Aires, Argentina (2002), and advanced studies in negotiation by CMI from Harvard University (1998).

He is an extrajudicial conciliator accredited by the Ministry of Justice of Peru (1999). He holds a Master′s degree in Economic Criminal Law from the Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega (1997), a Master’s degree in Business Law from the Universidad San Martín de Porres (2001), and a specialist diploma in Intellectual Property from Colegio de Abogados de Lima (Lima Bar Association, 2000). He specialised in management and organization at ESAN - College of Business Administration.
He has published several articles and essays on corporate law, industrial property and negotiation matters, and has been published in prestigious local and international journals and newspapers, including "El Peruano".
He has more than 25 years of experience working in the field of Industrial Property and has successfully handled matters in the areas of unfair competition, infringement of trade mark and patent rights and criminal prosecutions for trade mark counterfeiting, seizing thousands of counterfeit goods, which estimated values, reach several millions of dollars.
Among these processes, in the late 90s he headed an intervention to the markets of Tacna for selling counterfeit products bearing the mark "NIKE," wherein the seized merchandise was more than 5 tons of counterfeit clothing.
He is a founding partner and CEO of OMC ABOGADOS & CONSULTORES since 2005.
